Laia was born in Blanes, a town in La Costa Brava, but lives nearby Barcelona. She graduated from Cinematography at ESCAC (Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia) in 2019. So far she has shot short films, fashion films and was also one of the five members of the Youth Jury on the 50th Sitges Film Festival. In charge of "Paradise Hills" 's making of and part of the camera crew of "Les de l'hoquei" TV3 series. She has also been camera operator of "Barcelona 92" documentary, produced by Zeba Produccions and worked as a photographer for Time Out magazine. Always looking to explore new fields in the cinematography industry. 

Apart from that she is also passionate about photography. Besides taking photos, she created a black and white project called "BUMPA", which has recently been exposed in Barcelona by the IEFC (Institute of Photographic studies of Catalonia) and later in the Cultural Centre of Terrassa, at Casa Elizalde in Barcelona and Casa Saladrigas in Blanes.
